Artist Statement:
My work is mainly inspired by the wild, nature and the living world around me so I love to capture the essence of that by sketches or photos and I use those as a starting point for my research.
My interest and attention to the links between landscape and abstraction has followed me through my first years as an artist and although I mainly use acrylic and pigmented colors in my artwork, my art invites the viewer’s own interpretation as I like to take different paths and using several techniques.
There are strong influences from the effects of the elemental nature of the wilds in my abstract styles – mixing techniques makes for the fluidity and freedom of my work, which is constantly evolving and where colors and materials are central.
I define myself as a “searcher of emotions” and love to seize the moment, combining the spontaneity of a brush stroke with a desire to tame the material.

Education:
Pascale White grew up near Paris, but it was back in Europe after several years in the United States that she began to exhibit her work, which was mainly watercolor and ink on paper. Then it was in Belgium and the United Kingdom that his artistic work will be refined, mainly through studio practice.
When she returned to France, she led workshops for different audiences, mainly children, and obtained an art therapy diploma. From 2014, she decided to devote herself more intensely to her artistic production. She gradually stopped oil and watercolor to move towards a more refined work, using ink, pigments and acrylic. Since 2015 she has participated in many events each year.
Ecole supérieure d'art et de design d'Orléans - actuel ESAD
Diplôme d'art thérapie Université de Tours conjointement avec la Faculté de médecine de Tours
