Artist Statement:
Bonjour! Hi! My name is Laura Granata. I am a Canadian self-taught artist. My home and studio are in Laval, Quebec. I have always loved art with its Great Italian Masters and Impressionists. I got acquainted with the History of Art through my Communication Studies education and my subsequent marketing career in the luxury and beauty industry. My journey included taking charge of my own Communications Arts Company. From this experience, I retained a strong desire to expose the beauty of the human spirit. I now push this passion further by exploring new creative dimensions. Using oil or acrylic paint as a natural expression, my works of art are free flowing and unique. With palette knife in hand, my mission is to capture the joy of a moment through texture and color. As a result, my paintings interpret an unrehearsed
creation awakening the power within us to smile. Enjoy!
