Artist Statement:
I am based in Victoria B.C. after having lived and worked as an artist for many years in Nova Scotia Canada. Mypaintings are abstract interpretations of the landscape in acrylic, gouache and encaustic, that evoke the experience of immersion in a quiet wilderness as relief from our increasingly industrial world. I have given workshops in encaustic, acrylic and watercolour. My work is represented by galleries in Nova Scotia and Ontario, and I am a member of the Gage Gallery Arts Collective in Victoria, B.C.
