Artist Statement:

Delmarva Abstract Expressionist Artist
E.Olson Artists' statement ...“The exploration of the symbiotic relationship between man and nature, this unknown and unexplained mystery, is often the soul of my art. Through my mixed media and collage works, I attempt this search with a great sense of adventure and excitement. “

Education:

I was born with the gift of art and have nurtured that since I was a teen attending The Brooklyn Museum School of Art, and later in life , the Corcoran School of Art and Design in DC., I have complimented my love for the arts by attending workshops and art classes thru-out the region.I am a retired Registered Nurse and have chosen painting as my second career.

Professional/Teaching Experience:

Eileen conducts workshops, offers lectures and demos through out the Delmarva area She was an instructor for the Workhouse Institute at The Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA.
