I have attempted in my work for more than 30 yeasrs to interpret the world around us in an intuitive,expressive manner.
A personal vision of art that comes from within rather than depicting things as they are.

A rich blend of colours akin to expressionism.
Contemporary paintings depicting dreams,magical fantasies and a timeless quality.
I have been influenced by a few expressionist painters,Van Gogh,Munch and also the Canadian landscape painter Tom Thomson.
The dreamlike quality of Chagall and the Simplicity and charm of Folk art.
Working in various mediums,oil on canvas,wood relief carving and watercolour,the common theme that remains is a collage of shape,colour and tone.
While creating I am always of the tradition of the great history of art.

Recieved in 1981 a scholarship from the Greenshields foundation to study in Paris at the Paris-American Academy.
Recieved Grant to paint in Gotland Sweden in 1984.
