Artist Statement:
I'm a self-taught artist working primarily in acrylics, watercolor, and gouache focusing on textural, abstract, and impressionist pieces. I often combine elements of corruption and disorder with innocence and everyday life. My works represent my own inner dialogs and reflections of personal struggle in the mundane and unnoticed. The subjects I choose often illustrate my own conflicts and empathy for the discarded, misused, and forgotten. My canvas bears the scars, wounds and decay of the emotional toll that oftentimes builds over one's life.
I live with my wife in in the greater Seattle area with our dog, Winston, a very sensitive Yorkie, who likes soft beds and chewy treats . Feel free to contact me about my work, or you can link up with me on social media at one of the web links located on this page.
