I took up painting when I retired in 2000. Mainly self taught, but have done courses at the Morley College, Dulwich Gallery and Thomas Carlton.
My style has changed quite dramatically in recent years. From being a figurative painter specialising in boats and flowers I have gradually become more and more abstract, currently painting quite large fully abstract works in acrylics and oils. Inspired by Monet and Gerhardt Richter
I have exhibited at many local group shows, and have had solo shows at The Pavilion Cafe gallery. I have exhibited annually at the Horniman Museum Art how and the Sydenham Art trail.
